ANZAC is a day not just to remember the fallen and the sacrifice they made, not just a day to remember our victories, the courage and commitment of those who served, it is also a day to reflect on the terrible cost of war.  it must be the determination of a peace-loving nation like Australia to consign war to being a remedy of last resort and to promote peace and security as our greatest goal, both at home and abroad.
